01 · Customer Story System

From ongoing customer conversations to a structured story library

Customer conversations already contained valuable signals about why people bought iGulu, how usage evolved, what they struggled with, and what the product meant in everyday life. The opportunity was to turn those fragmented interactions into a repeatable customer-story system.

Ongoing Story SeriesEditorial continuity, not one-off testimonials

The “100 iGulu User Stories” initiative created a recurring structure for documenting real ownership experiences over time.

Different User PerspectivesMultiple dimensions of ownership value

Stories captured beginner journeys, experimentation, family rituals, repeat use, multi-machine ownership, and beyond-beer use cases.

Reusable Customer ProofOne story, multiple downstream uses

Each story created material that could later be adapted into website content, social storytelling, seasonal campaigns, and CRM.

02 · Capturing & Structuring Customer Insight

Turning fragmented conversations into structured customer insight

Story development began long before the final article. Ongoing conversations, follow-up questions, photos, brewing notes, and product feedback were organized by user so that recurring themes and meaningful story angles could be identified over time.

Trust Built Through Conversation

Consistent follow-up and careful listening helped conversations move beyond transactional support. Users began sharing additional experiments, personal context, and future plans voluntarily.

03 · From Conversation to Story

Different users revealed different dimensions of product value

Selected stories were not treated as interchangeable testimonials. Each one surfaced a different ownership pattern, emotional motivation, or product perception that could inform future messaging.

04 · Social Content Adaptation

Adapting long-form stories into social-first narratives

Long-form customer stories were translated into shorter, visually distinct social narratives, with each story emphasizing a different emotional or product angle.

05 · Story-to-CRM Adaptation

Turning customer stories into lifecycle content

Customer stories were also adapted into email campaigns, where the narrative had to become shorter, more scannable, and more conversion-oriented while retaining the original customer’s personality.

Conversion PathShorter narrative, clear next action

The full story was condensed into scannable modules that ended with a direct CTA to continue reading.

06 · Story-Led Content Performance

Customer-led storytelling generated stronger engagement

The campaign data showed that customer-story emails were not only useful as trust-building content; they also performed strongly as lifecycle marketing assets.
